Sony has announced this week’s PlayStation Store update which includes a nice little LocoRoco 2 PSP demo (we should have a review of the full game next week), the PSX version of SimCity 2000, a load of cynically priced LittleBigPlanet costumes and rubbish, and the BioShock Challenge Rooms add-on pack among other things. story details »

Bioshock was launched last year almost to the day for the PC and Xbox 360. It received critical acclaims throughout the press and gamers for it’s environment and storytelling. 2K games went to great lengths to make sure that everything was on par with the other versions of the title. story details »

It's hard to believe it was a little over a year ago that BioShock was taking the game industry by storm (read my review of the 360 version if you somehow missed the phenomenon the first time around). Equally hard to believe: It's taken a full year for a PlayStation 3 port that merely adds a tougher difficulty setting and the exciting opportunity to download bonus content that's just weeks away. story details »

In PlayStation Universe's upcoming BioShock interview, 2K Marin programmer Jake Etgeton reveals that the PS3 version of BioShock will feature new interactive load screens and graphical enhancements due to the use of Blu-ray and the ability to install data on the PS3 hard drive. story details »

An article over at eurogamer gave us a shock and reported that the instillation files of BioShock at almost 5GB. So if you have a 20GB PS3 this game alone will take up 25% of that space. Its difficult to understand why in this Blu-ray and age we still need to be installing majorly large files such as these. story details »
