It's no secret that CryTek is bringing over its revolutionary CryENGINE over to PS3. In fact, they showed off some behind-the-scenes demos to developers at GDC. While CryTek doesn't confirm the long-rumored PS3 version of Crysis in their interview with IGN, they do make a few notes about the process of bringing such a power-hungry engine over to Sony's home console.

EA and Crytek released the second patch for Crysis yesterday, bringing the FPS masterpiece up to version 1.2. The patch mainly focuses on improvements to the multiplayer and mod support, but there are a ton of balances and tweaks to the single-player content, weapons, vehicles and overall game stability as well.

Crytek is currently collecting feedback information and will have a patch ready in 7-14 days. They are seeing improved performance with every driver and patch update, which is good thing. This also means that performance will be increased in upcoming patches and driver updates.
