Once again, another Unreal Engine-related delay strikes again. The Last Remnant is one of the timed exclusive RPGs from Square Enix on the Xbox 360, but that wasn't because Microsoft shelled out the big bucks. According to an interview with Gamespy, the delay was "mainly for development reasons." The Unreal Engine has been difficult to work with on PS3, and that's been the cause of the delay....

Some of you may be wondering why Killzone 2 was pushed back to February of 2009. It's not because the game is glitchy and needs extra work, or isn't performing up to the devs standards. Replying to comment #44, it seems SCEA looked at the Fall 2008 lineup and decided that there were enough high-profile titles (and two other shooters: SOCOM and Resistance 2) competing for holiday dollars.

Today was supposed to be the launch of the Metal Gear Online beta. However, overwhelming demand has caused Konami to delay the release. Now, beta participants can join in on the fun this Friday, April 25th -- barring no serious problems.

Well, finally! GTA IV is coming out in April. This is, as you should be well aware, a significant delay from its original planned release. What was responsible for the delay?
