The Kingdom Hearts franchise is going portable in a huge way with Square Enix today announcing from the Tokyo Game Show three new titles in the series spanning the DS, PSP and mobile.

God of War: Chains of Olympus has been given a final release date of March 4th, 2008 for the PSP incarnation (I assume that’s the US date), this continues the trend of the game’s developer, Ready at Dawn, releasing God of War games in March, as it has done with the previous two console titles.

We happened to be walking by the Sony booth, the massive Sony booth, this morning when they were rehearsing part of their press conference. Late last month we posted a story on a PSP designed to be the ultimate piece of God of War modded art. Turns out the eventual winner of that auction, with a bid of $1725 (with 15% going to Child's Play charity), was Ready at Dawn Studio, the company behind God of War: Chains of Olympus.
