The first Overlord was an overlooked adventure game that blended the best parts of Pikmin with the worst parts of the Bible. Casting gamers as a walking apocalypse with demon underlings, the delightfully cheery fantasy world gave the game a dark yet charming personality. What's new for E3? This was my first opportunity to play the game (the Xbox 360 version was on display) and actually see it outside of trailers and screenshots. I tried out one of the challenge mode's street stages and hit the half-pipe for a vert level. However -- and this is very important -- Activision put the theoretical training wheels on the E3 demo, removing all control of board movement.. story details »
