You and me, we know the new Batman: Arkham Asylum game is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 & PC on August 25th this year. But does Batman know? Nope, no one told him. Developer BioWare has explained that your character started in the first Mass Effect will carry through as the main protagonist straight through the entire trilogy up to Mass Effect 3. Well, it’s only “your character”, if you manage to keep Commander Shepard alive. The thing is that you’ll only get to carry your Shepard on to Mass Effect 3 if you survive through Mass Effect 2. story details »

Unfortunately for Playstation 3 owners, it looks like Valve’s upcoming zombie-shooter, Left 4 Dead 2, will still not be making an appearance on Sony’s video game console. Looking for some relatively cheap, older-type PlayStation 3 games? Amazon's doing the PS3 deal day thing once again, kicking things off with a little Modern Warfare and seeing where things go from there. Ladies and gentlemen, the intertubes are clogged. They are completely filled with bullets and bosses from Gunstar Heroes. All the digital Drain-O in the world couldn't save it either, at least, on the PlayStation 3. One of the more interesting titles on show at the recent E3 show was Afrika for the PS3. Afrika's beautiful safari setting and peaceful photography gameplay was in stark contrast to the sea of sci-fi shooters and hack'n slash combat on display elsewhere. Until the two new technologies from Microsoft and Sony aren't deployed on the market, we will definitely won't know (with facts) who will come out on top, and who will have the better specs. Of course we could wait for them to come out, or in this case for our personal enjoyment, we could jump back in time when this technology was actually thought of. Sadly for those frequent Super Smash Bros. Brawl players out there, Nintendo has announced that the Wii fighter’s servers that allow you to upload user-generated photos, stages and replay data will end on June 30th, 2009.
